As the eldest in my family, I was often the bridge between my parents and two sisters. That taught me to listen well, quickly identify where everyone's interests lie and how to bring them together. I draw on those skills every day. What makes my role particularly rewarding is that I help organisations by introducing candidates they would never have found themselves, and that I can surprise candidates with organisations they would not have immediately thought of."
