What appeals to me most about this profession is the conversation about someone's career. I regularly have open conversations that are not directly linked to a specific role, but are about ambitions, doubts, challenges and what truly gives someone energy. I carry those insights with me for when the next opportunity presents itself.

My interest in leadership and organisational change developed during my Master's in Leadership & Change Management. At Top of Minds, I focus primarily on commercial roles in sectors where digitalisation and other developments follow one another at rapid pace. Many of our clients face questions around leadership and transformation. By asking the right questions, it becomes clear what type of person is needed at that moment — not only in terms of content, but also in terms of personality. All the relevant boxes ticked on paper are valuable, but the right cultural fit is at least equally decisive."
