Corporate Development Manager

Requirements*

Corporate Development Manager
The Corporate Development Manager will report to the Director of Corporate Development. They will be part of VodafoneZiggo’s Corporate Development Team, which is responsible for evaluating, selecting, and implementing corporate development opportunities.
The two main themes for the Corporate Development Manager will be M&A and corporate projects, like restructuring. They will also work on strategic partnerships and innovation programs that have not yet found a permanent place in the organization. That means the Corporate Development Manager will be the bridge between strategy and business as usual.
Communication and stakeholder management are essential for the Corporate Development Manager. They will take the helm in managing complex, multidisciplinary projects and M&A deals that often involve many people, both internally and externally, from Technology, Marketing, Finance and Legal to banks, multiple advisors and law firms. The Corporate Development Manager will provide substantive guidance for the project teams and bear final responsibility for the results. They will need the skills to engage successfully at every level, from specialists deep within the organization to board members.
Managing complex projects requires exceptional analytical and conceptual skills and strategic thinking. The Corporate Development Manager should be able to assimilate new information in a flash and distill complex issues to accessible and intuitive storylines that management can use to quickly make the right decisions. They will also conduct the necessary analyses (supported by internal and external specialists where necessary), such as opportunity scans for M&A, due diligence investigations, synergy analyses, business cases, company valuations, deal structures and implementation plans.
The Corporate Development Manager is a complex role with a large and diverse stakeholder base and challenging subject matter.
