Vacancy for International Business Controller
The International Business Control team currently consists of five International Business Controllers. It’s only a matter of time before several of them will be ready to transition into one of the groups. SHV is open to two types of candidates as their successors: high-potentials with international ambitions (minimum 4 years’ financial experience) and more experienced financials who can contribute to the medium and long-term development of the International Business Control department (minimum 8 years’ experience). All International Business Controllers report directly to the Corporate Controller, Jan Slootweg. They provide the EVP Finance, the Executive Board of Directors and Senior Staff with financial and non-financial insights, which means they have unparalleled exposure to senior management.
This includes, but is not limited to, in-depth business trends analysis, monthly performance reviews, annual budget reviews, P&L and cash-flow analyses and analysing and commenting on investment, divestment and financing proposals. They also have impact by participating in ad-hoc projects such as proposing a new forecasting model for all operating companies.
