This Amsterdam-based single family office is building its investment team to support a dynamic and growing portfolio across private equity, venture capital and direct investment. The Investment Manager leads deal execution, contributes to portfolio strategy, and takes an active role in shaping the firm’s expanding impact investment activities.
This Amsterdam-based single family office manages a flexible and diverse investment portfolio, with activities ranging from private equity and venture capital to direct investments. Investment focus is determined not by rigid categories, but by opportunity – deals that offer a compelling mix of potential, scope, and network. The portfolio consists exclusively of minority stakes, spanning early-stage ventures to large-cap companies, across a broad range of sectors.

The office also manages its own foundations and is currently expanding into the area of impact investing, with the first initiatives already underway. Requirements*
- Over 5 years of experience
- In an M&A environment (e.g. banking, private equity and/or venture capital)
- Strong analytical skills, financial modeling capabilities, and a solid understanding of due diligence and deal documentation
- A well-developed network among investment professionals and intermediaries
- Entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset
- A genuine interest in impact investing

The Investment Manager plays a central role in identifying, assessing, and executing investment opportunities across diverse sectors and asset classes. Responsibilities include conducting both quantitative and qualitative analysis of industries and specific opportunities, independently building investment cases, leading due diligence and valuation processes, and preparing materials for investment committee decision-making.
In addition, the Investment Manager maintains close contact with portfolio companies, monitors performance, and identifies value-enhancing initiatives such as bolt-on acquisitions
or timely exits. A broad perspective on market trends is essential, as the Investment Manager is expected to take part in strategic discussions regarding portfolio positioning and investment focus. Operating at both strategic and operational levels, the Investment Manager works closely with senior leadership.
Collaboration and autonomy
The current investment team consists of two to three professionals, with plans to grow to approximately six in the near future. The firm operates with a flat structure and short lines of communication. Independence and entrepreneurial spirit are key: ideas and initiative are welcomed, and team members are expected to think and act as owners. The Investment Manager reports directly to the Managing Director.
