Fourthline has been expanding at a record rate in 2020, fulfilling its commitment to helping clients meet their compliance requirements and protect their businesses against fraud attacks. Q4 of 2020 saw an impressive increase of 100 percent compared to Q3. The growth forecast for 2021 is even bigger. A large part of that growth is due to the company’s tech division. Vacancy: Chief of Staff
The company finds itself at a tipping point: the tech team currently counts over sixty professionals and will hire at least another twenty people in the near future. The time has come to scale the organization and accelerate the next phase of its development. The Chief of Staff will facilitate this growth, which in turn is a great opportunity for personal growth.
The Chief of Staff acts as the CTO’s right hand and is able to offer them strategic and operational support. Acting as their strategic advisor and trusted project leader, the Chief of Staff joins the CTO in team meetings and strategy sessions, to immediately support or take over some of the CTO’s current activities. Overall, the focus lies predominantly on designing the organization for scalability. The Chief of Staff will take on responsibilities in the realm of project management, new product development (NPD) and HR. Furthermore, the role may also include driving technology due diligence projects for potential M&A targets.
The Chief of Staff doesn’t only draft strategic proposals or plans; they are responsible for their execution, too. This entails ensuring the right stakeholders, teams, and people are on board and aligned, and plans are carried out effectively and on time. The Chief of Staff ensures every project is fully adopted by the organization. This requires solid project management and analytical skills as well as strong communication and people skills.
